            里氏硬度計的須知

             一、注意使用環境
            避免鐵屑、氧化皮、灰塵等異物進入機器內部,造成電路短路燒毀機器,避免在強電磁干擾的場合應用,如:小靈通天線、高頻爐等周圍,造成儀器工作異常,應該在工作溫度在0℃~40℃,相對濕度≤90%,無強光直射,無振動、無強烈磁場、無腐蝕性介質及嚴重粉塵的環境下工作。
            二、對被測試件的要求
            里氏硬度計在使用過程中應先注意被測試件的要求,確保試件表面應潔凈,無灰塵、油污和氧化皮,可用砂輪機先將被測件表面局部打磨,顯出金屬色。試件表面的溫度不能過高,要求溫度小于120℃。測試最佳溫度為4℃-38℃。
            三、分析所要測試的試件的特點
            試件的表面應光滑,試件不能帶磁,試件的材料應和儀器預置的材料對應,試件的厚度應達到測試要求,試件的外形尺寸和支承環相吻合。
            四、對試件進行測試
            對于中型試件及小型試件,須要做支承或粘合處理,對于異型材料需做對比實驗即用同硬度制的臺式硬度計在同一試件上測試對比做對比曲線,以確保測試精度的準確性。
